volt guage low/jumping
When I first start my truck the voltage guage reads low, then under initial revs or acceleration it jumps around and then settles up where it should be.
Has a lifetime warranty alternator that was put in maybe a year ago. Any ideas?

It's normal. The GPR is being energized on and off. This will happen for up to 2 minutes. If you rev the engine while the GPR is on, the alternator will put out too much power and makes the GPR shut down momentarily. It's a safety feature so you don't cook the GP's. As long as it settles down after a couple minutes I would say you OK.
