Power Steering for 34 Ford PU?
I have a 1934 Ford that now has 56 Ford brakes that gave us a little better braking and allowed us to put wider tires on this little cutie. Problem is that with the wider tires, steering is definitely an armstrong effort! I want to convert my steering to power and would prefer rack & pinion. Does anyone know the best way to go about this, and the best (most cost effective) provider?

I'll take a shot at this, I'm not that knowledgeable about the 34 but from what I have read is most people use a vega steering box with adapter plate welded to the frame on those trucks. You probably will have to install a IFS to get rack and pinion steering however I have read articles about a rack and pinion kit for a straight axle assuming that is what you have, but for a later model. None of these options are real cheap however.
