Anyone have old spindles for machining project?
Hello all,
I am in process of building a jig and need 2 spindles for vertical alignment/movement for use as a cutter holder. I was hoping that there are a few out there that some one would be willing to part with for a small fee (or free even). The spindle itself will be machine off, I would need to have the bushing lands free of wear.

Jont,just received an extra front axel complete drum to drum .Would be willing to part with the spindles .How about $25 each + S & H .Need to recoup some $$ out of the extra parts to help fund the stock build .

I was hoping to find a pair for $20 & shipping or less. I am wanting to use the king pin portion for the perfectly aligned & bored holes (vertical alignment & movement) while the remainder of the housing will be machined for the cross connectors. I sure appreciate both of your responses and offers. Unfortunately this is a low buck operation, and the Volare spindes aren't a king pin style.
If I am unable to find some, there are always other ways to resolve a problem, just have to figure it out.
