I have Chilton or Haynes manuals for all my vehicles, but I can't find one for my 06 Expedition. There is a Haynes 06 F-150 manual, but it doesn't mention the Expedition. Would this be beneficial. I also have seen Official Ford mechanics tech manuals. Has anyone gotten one of these, are they pretty good? Thanks!
Thanks, this DVD does look pretty good. I have seen the same manual in hard copy on ebay. I thought the hard copy might be easier to use in the garage when you want to work on the car. Then again, the DVD would probably last forever.
Sounds like a good excuse to buy yourself a laptop.
I have a DVD for mine and I can print out pages if I need to bring them out with me to the garage and keep them there in case I need them again. The other awesome thing about using a DVD is the ability to search for keywords. No more thumbing through a manual to look up stuff.
I couldn't resist getting the factory service manual. $50 bucks on ebay with shipping seemed like a good investment. It came with two volumes and a third wiring volume. It should be at the mailbox today, which is good because I want to change my tranny fluid during the games today. Good excuse to drinks some beer in the garage. I will let everyone know how the manuals are when I pick them up.
