Does anyone have or have you used the Haynes Diesel techbook engine repair manual for Ford an GM's? I was thinking about getting one but didn't know if they were any good or just a waste of money.
Yeah, put the money towards a set of factory manuals.
Or you can do it like I did:
Buy the Haynes manuals, get frustrated with the missing/wrong information, then buy the factory manuals...an use the haynes manuals to line the bottom of your bird cage.
NOTE: edited for accuracy. (TJC)
Edit again: Naw, the bird couldn't use it either, but I did find a use in the shop: starting up the wood stove... (Phy)
OK thanks, thats what I figured but wanted to be sure.
This might sound like a dumb question....but I looked on eBay for a manual and all I found was the Turbo Diesel supplement for 1993, mines not a Turbo...would it be the same manual or is there a different manual for the non turbos?
Is the diesel supplement all I need or should I get a full set, my budget is pretty tight so I dont wanna buy more than I need.
I actually have the Haynes manual....it is a valuable resource however it does have a few shortcomings as previously noted. For what they cost pick 1 up so that you do at least have something for reference on hand.
