I am not getting any lights or power. Jumped the solenoid and as it cranks the lights come back on. I intend to check all the grounds, juice to the little post and the fusable links. Does it matter what solenoid post the fusable links go to? I read in a former message post that they go on the battery post, but I believe mine (there are two) are on the starter post.
Also can a bad ignition switch cause no juice to even the headlights? Thanks for any ideas.
ny, the ignition switch has nothing to do with the lights. I think you have a bad battery cable or connection. A cable can be bad and not be apparent, although it will usually have a "bubble" in the insulation and a lot of built-up corrosion on the battery terminals.
I'm not sure about the fusible links, although any circuits that are attached to the pos or batt terminal on the solenoid, will always be hot, such as the lights. (Even with the key off)

If you move the wires with the fusible links to the terminal of the starter relay the battery positive cable connects to, should be front terminal, I beleive all your problems will be solved.
If they are on the starter side you will only get power to these circuits when the starter relay is closed, which is quite hard if you dont have power to the ignition switch
