~Expedition Stock Face wiring RCA converter Help please?
I have a 1997 expedition, I have 4 10'inch fosgate subs, running of my alpine m1507 amp. Since i have a stock face i had to get a rca converter, which i did, i was wondering if someone could help me on installing the converter, i dont know which wires on the back of the stock face is the left and right - and + can someone please help me, the reason i dont want to get a new face is because i have a 6cd changer, and i dont want to make it a hassle and change the cd player also. I am trying to install the rca converter, there is 1 ground wire and 4 speaker wires coming out of the converter, could someone give me a diagram or tell me which wires are left and right - and + behind the stock face. I have a '97 F-150 with the factory radio and Cd changer, these radio's should be the same the LF(+)
range, lt green
(-):lt blue, white stripe
RF(+):white, lt green stripe
(-)
k green, orange stripe
LR(+):Grey, lt blue stripe
(-):Tan, yellow stripe
RR(+):Orange, red stripe
(-):Brown, pink stripe
These are the wires as they are at speakers, they might be different coming from the radio. Good luck, hope it works, and hope it sounds good.
