'06 5.4L FFV fuel filter heads up
The correct Motorcraft filter is FG1083 (with 3/8" line), not FG986B (with 5/16" line) listed in the owner's manual.

BTW there is a great step by step tech article here on how to do this and relieve pressure using the inertia switch, etc. Very straight forward and easy to follow. It will be about a 15min job the 2nd time I do this with the right filter.
