What is the extra plug near oil pressure sending unit for?

Im replacing my oil sending unit with aftermarket gauge and noticed that the wiring harness has 2 plugs. I plug goes to the back of the OEM sending unit the other one is just sitting there and has never been connected. Can you guys tell me why there is a second plug on my 97 4.2?

Sorry - should search more carefully before posting. I found from:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...-complete.html

thats its for speed sensitive steering that was an option on the expedition which shares the same wiring harness.
