Whats one of these worth? My dad has one from his old truck from the mid 60"s. He let my older brother put his engine in his 40 sedan. Then dad dicovered his f1 out at the local junk yard. He wasn't very happy. But, he did take the radiator off of it. That was the first thing I drove as a kid. IF THEY WOULD HAVE TOWED IT BACK TO MY DADS HOUSE, IT WOULD STILL BE
GOING. The condition of the radiator is very good. Never leaked. Bob
I was hoping to get some kind of feedback about this radiator. Does anyone need a good one? Whats it worth? I guess it will be headed to flea-bay soon. Bob
Bob, somethign like this can be hard to sell, only becasue of shipping costs. It's easy to get a replacement radiator these days. I'd give it maybe $100. Unless it's got a brand new core, most people are going to be expecting to replace the core with a new one.
Yes, it is heavy with quite a bit of metal. Shipping would be high. I could see
where someone might want to re-build there old one. But, this has been in dry storage since being removed in the early 60's. I personally wouldn't be afraid to put it on my 39 pick-up. I would have it cleaned and re-paint it
for sure. Thank-you for your input! Bob
