Explorer 2004 Transmission Type

I tried looking this up on various sites, but nothing specific. On a 2004 XLT 4 Door Explorer with the 4.6 V8, which transmission does it come with 5 Speed Automatic or the 4 Speed Automatic and would the 2004 V8 have whatever the transmission problems were with the fluid?

It's a 5-speed; 5R55W I think. Mine needed the additive and hasn't shown any problems YET. A VIN check will show whether the additive is/was needed.
