Does anyone have install pictures of the pillar pod? I have found a few on the net, but they are not very helpful. I want to do it right the first time, I got the three gauge pod from dieselmanor.com but they came with no helpful info.
You did a great job on the install. Two questions- how well did they match the interior color? And I understand that there is foam insulation in the pillar, did that give you any trouble?

The paint is real close, but not perfect. close enough.
there is foam IN the pillar not under the pillar cover. You
know what I mean? You dont have to get into the actual
pillar to run any wires, just under the cover.
So give us a little info,,, what gauges did you use, where did you get the A piller pod how did the connect up ?
I bought the pillar pod from www.dieselmanor.com and the
paint. I got the gauges off of ebay, I got the Pyrometer,
Boost, and trans temp. the wires were easy I wired the
gauges in the pillar, then installed the pillar & ran the wires down
the pillar then through the side cover. I still need to drill & tap the
exhaust, and hook up the boost, as well as the trans temp.
I didnt have enough tools here at home to finish it. I wanted to
get all of the inside wires done & installed. It was real easy so far.
My question is how the heck do you fit your SD in your garage?! haha - Great looking gauges BTW
LOL thats funny, my wife & I had this house built two years ago,I
had then an 06 superduty cc short bed, I had the third stall of the garage
extended by like five feet & the door raised to eight feet, for the lift. I test
drove an 08 long bed (which I have now) and made sure it fit before I got it
and it does with like three feet to spair.... thank you.
