Hi ! i just bought a three gauge pod that goes on the left pillar beside my windshield, can anyone plz help me with the installation, how can i make it hold there tight ?
It's really easy, follow the instructions and use the supplied hardware. Did it not come with instructions? There are a bunch of links to the install for these.
I just bought one as well. Mine came with 4 of those kind of push in screws to hold it secure. Mine fits over the existing pillar. I thought of using some double face tape instead so I don't have to drill any holes in my pillar.

Makes me ask, are you selling the truck anytime soon? If so, or even not, are you planning on removing the gauge pod and selling that separately used? Not going to get much so unless you plan to put it in the next truck, not worth it.
So this is drill apprehension. Measure twice, mark and line up, check again, then just drill it. But to answer the question, folks have installed their pillars with DS tape or emblem adhesive. Problem is, it's a PITA to remove if you need to.
I bought mine off of Craigslist. Original purchase was from Diesel Manor.
Diesel Manor site instructions are posted here. Pretty good one too from what I recall. Problem is when you don't get all the hardware, wiring and senders.

No not in the near future. Haven't even installed the gauges yet.

Exactly what it is, drill apprehension. I just hate drilling holes. I guess it's not a big deal since I plan on keeping the truck.

They are very good instructions. As for wiring and senders I got the whole meal deal. Three boxes for the gauges, another two boxes with stuff for the exhaust gauge, a box of tubing and a bag with about a million clips and wires etc.
I only drilled one hole at the upper right corner and mine holds fine. I also routed my wires and such BETWEEN the existing pillar cover and the dash. There is NO reason to drill through the existing cover to run the wiring. I believe most or all the directions tell you to drill but it is not required. My .02. End rant! lol
I drilled two holes on the top of the pillar to hold it in place using the push pins. The black weather strip of the door covers most of the push pin head as well. The other is wedged up against the windshield and you cannot see it. The bottom of the pillar holds tight because of the dash. Been in place for three years without an issue.
On edit: I have 2 extra push pins if anyone needs them.
