Where can I find a good I-6 rebuild manual, or book?
I am rebuilding my first 300 I-6, where can I find a good complete manual or book for this. Also where can I find a good source or new parts.

i use the haynes repair manual. i've never rebuilt an engine, but it has a section on how to. part source and canadain tire in canada have a lot of 300 6 parts. if urt in the states try like pepboys or napa or something. also lmctruck.com has a wide variety of almost everything for all fords

Helm is the book form , Helminc.com . Alldata , Alldatadiy.com is a online deal , its about $25 / Yr for one vehicle & about $20 / yr to add subsequent vehicles . I like Alldata because it offers Tsb info as its released , It pretty much has everything that the books have . Plus , If I want a diagram , I print it off & if it gets lost , dirty or torn , no big deal . I like & use both the Helm manuals & Alldata . It all depends on what you would prefer .

Don't forget to check your local library. Some are well stocked with a variety of manuals and the price can't be beat.

Haynes usually is a good source but it's possible that they may not provide all of the fits and tolerances needed. The library is a good source, providing some deliquent hasn't returned the book desired.
