No it does not have a oiled filter, it gives you a choice between two types of cotton filter. I don't know anyone that uese it. I use the K&N intake. check my gallery.

and it has a never oil filter too? im real concerned with them censors getting oil on them and screwing up. thats why i dont want K&N. that system you have looks good.
i have one more question, how did you cut that thing out of the grille of the truck and does it help?
Just thought I'd bump this to the top and see if anyone else was using one yet? I've read about them all (K&N, Volant, AFE, ect.) and the Volant sounds like the most well thought out kit. Read about someone on here getting 1.5 mpg more from there's.
