66 f350 ignition making loud grinding noise
Was running great 7hrs before. Makes a loud grinding when fliping the ignition over. Sounds like the starter? There was a burned out Red and Black Wire connected to the Alternator coming from the Cab (drivers side ignition area?) I re connected the burned out section. Same problem. Any suggestions would be helpfull, thanks!

Sounds like the starter is shot, pretty easily replaced as long as you don't have headers on the truck. Do a good inspection of the wires for damage.
