Just signed the papers tonight, its an 05 reg. cab short box with the 3.0l 5sp, pretty plain jane with just cd player and tow package in addition to wha tthe edge package adds, has 36000kms and paid 11k cdn for it (for around here thats a very good price), i get the remaining balance of the factory warrantee, and they are putting a new windshield (has one pretty ugly chip in it) and complete service on it (all fuild grease etc) before i pick it up, thought i'd post a new thread and i'll keep mileage updates as i go
(mods sorry for the off site link but it wouldn't load up on my fte gallery)
Cool! Looks like it will be fun. Regualr cab/short box pickups are just fin to drive since they seem so much more responsive. I drive a '96 Ranger XL 4x4 5sp with a lift gate for the work rig. Now that the transmission is rebuild, clutch replaced and a new engine, it is fun to drive! Although, I have no A/C or power stuff. I got fed up and put a CD player in it. That is more important than A/C to me!
Have fun with your little truck, and don't wreck it!
yeah i debated an extended cab and had one picked out too but decided that the 5sp (not a fan of the spazdas tranny's in the 1/2 tons, but these should do a bit better in a lighter truck) and regular cab s what i really wanted so i just happened to be looking in the right place at the right time.
