i'm tired and i cant remember which post we were talking about the different intakes in, i had posted about my buddies 03 sd and i thought he had the afe that someone on here had, i was mistaken, my buddy has this thing http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/s...air-intake.htm
its junk dont buy it, it doesnt fit right and the filter minder is always sucking in on it, i think i've convined him to go with the 6637 and i'm goin to make him the elbows needed adn do the ccv mod too
hey I did the ccv mod today but I left the dog house alone. I will try and put up pics but I don't know how well they will work. I went to the ford dealer and bought a new sd house to turbo and bought $5 worth of 8 inches of 4" of pipe. 8 was a little too much but it works for now. has any tried truFlow air filters. It is reusable and has really good flow. I didn't notice a bit of difference to the turbo flow or get up.
Would it be safe to do the 10k mod with just a 3"dp and the new intake and no gauges? gauges are next I just want more get up without hurting something.

IMO, any of the reusable filters allow dirt to get though, that's why they flow better. If it let's in more air the pores of the filter material have to be larger. My 2 cents.
I hear what you are saying. Check this movie below out. This movie might change your minds. I just converted after my ccv mod. and I cleaned everything out. So I will check again in a few months to see if anything has collected in there.
Yep it is the cost of one 6637 for me. So it was worth it. I was also told to keep a spare air filter because it takes a bit to clean it, like about a day to let it dry and such.

judging from your image id, you are loading it from your computer to the post, you cant do that, you have to uplaod to webshots or photobucket then link to the post and it will work
