I've finally made it to my brakes on the '51 F3 and I have an early build with the dual piston cylinders. Now I am wondering if the F2 and F3's shared the same front drums and/or front shoes, also could they have the same rear shoes? My P. side front drum has a nasty channel cut right in the middle of it and I'd like to replace the shoes since I am in there anyway and the F2 shoes are readily available and of course F3's aren't even listed.

I assume the wheel cylinders are not the same.
Early build 1951 F3 uses the same front drums as an F2: 1948/51 = 8 D-1125
1948/51 F3 has 1 3/4" width front shoes, the same as the F2 uses.
1948/51 F3 rear shoes are different than the F2. F3's are 2" width / F2's are 1 3/4" width. (F2's use the same brake shoes front & rear).
1948/51 F2-F3: Front brake cylinders: 21A-2061 right / 21A-2062 left. These cylinders have two sizes. 1 3/8" and 1."
1948/51 F2-F3: There are also heavy duty cylinders. These are 1 3/8" = 8J-2061 right / 8J-2062 left
Great to have numberdummy around, I would not have finished without him and dueller giving me part numbers. I will be needing them both soon again as I start the coe!
