My '01 Excursion (wifes actually) has the ses light at 99,790 so I'm taking it to the stealership for one last "free" checkup.
The pedestal o-rings are leaking and this morning found the top two bolts backed out of the turbo housing on the exhaust side.
Looking for ideas to request or "express concern with" while its there to get the most out of my $100. Like maybe new gaskets for the exhaust leak that I'm sure if it isn't there will be shortly?
Any ideas are appreciated. Also can I expect some flak over the 6637?
Thanks
I'm embarassed to admit in all the excitement of my free checkup and thoughts of getting out of the pedestal leak I forgot about the 5 year part of the warranty.
On the other hand, after reinstalling the two bolts, my light is gone and I've got some power back. I still have some issues though, I plan on pulling codes this week sometime.
Thanks for the ideas though, Dodger.
