2001 E150 refuses to enter programming mode for remote
Hey!
My 2001 E150 Conversion Vans refuses to enter the programming mode for remote controls. I want to program a second remote control and do everything as described in the owners / workshop manual. The van does not enter programming mode (door locks/unlocks). Unfortunately this particular failure mode is not described in the workshop manual. Any ideas about what to try next?

Does the orignal remote work?
Over at the motorcraft website you can find your owners guide and they may also have an updated version. I know for the trucks there are several printings available.
