89 Full sized Bronco tilt steering

89 Full sized Bronco tilt steering
When I apply the brakes the tilt wants to either go all the way up or all the way down. I pulled the steering wheel and there is no looseness associated with the bearing or the housing and the tilt locking arm stays put. When I reinstall the steering wheel I have a lot of side to side and top to bottom play. I cant fing a decnt enough breakdown of the column to allow me to disassemble it Please help. Thanks.
