Taking off governer?

Is there any way to get rid of the standard governer on my 2004 ranger that stops it at 95 mph?

Speed control is handled by the pcm. No way to get rid of that without getting a programmer or chip. Hope you dont drive 95 all the time!!

Yeah I dont drive 95 all the time and i'm realizing it's pointless to get rid of seeing that I dont need to go that fast in a truck.

I bounced off the limiter a few times heading down highway 45 (RedBoat probably knows what I'm talking about, 45 between Dallas and Houston is insane).

Chip or programmer. No other way. Programmer being the suggested route unless you want to upgrade power as well.
