I have a 98 Explorer with a manual transmission. In order for me to start the car I have to really lay on the gas. Once I'm driving, every time I push in the clutch, the car shuts off. I have to stay on the gas in order for me to drive. Any ideas?

First thing I would check would be fuel filter and then check fuel pressure. If either the fuel filter or the fuel pressure regulator is clogged, you could have this happen. You can pick up a filter for less than $10.00, and a lot of places will check your pressure for free.
