Does anyone know of or already sourced luminous paint for the instrument cluster, I want to touch up point needles and scales on the meters in installed in my instrument cluster.
I did a search on internet; but yielded only US hits; I have tried hobbt shops but no luck to date.
If you check with industrial suppliers or paint stores the seel industrial paint, you'll fin a BRIGHT orange paint used to mark underground cables or do layout work on the surfacwe that should fit the bill. I thought I saw at a Lowes building supply, also. If you know anyone that works for a utility company, that would also be a good source.
I found it at farm supply stores and WalMart. Don't limit yourself to a hobby store, I bought glow in the dark paint for a bedroom that worked just fine for mine.
I have the "bedroom" star project paint, does it glow while iluminated from the dash lights or just after you turn them off. The paint I have doesnot "glow" in daylight or when lit.
I have added green LED lights to the original instrument panel to give it the "retro" feel, now want paint to make the needles and gauges stand out at night.
