Injector Pluse rate 2001 F150
I have a probelm that only occurs once in a while: At start up the engine will not idle, finally noted that the injectors were over fueling, no codes or service engine light has come up. If I hold the throttle down for a while it will normally clear out. Any one have this and know the fix? 5.4L engine 80,000 miles on truck.

Your injectors are staying open, I doubt it's because of the pulse rate. It's probably due to dirty injectors. Get a can of SEAFOAM and pour it in the tank at a concentrated rate. Run it and then refuel and see what happens.
SEAFOAM can be bought at Advance Auto stores. If it clears up use an injector cleaner every so often to keep it from happening.
BTW this is not the 2001 forum. Its the 2004 thru 2007 F150 section.
