BigBro FTE says I not postin'
There is now a note at the top of page reminding me of my lack of activity on FTE. Kind of scary in a way to have yet one more web based eye on me. Well, I have been here lurkin just as in the old days, but have seen the
subject matter as simple enuf for the regulars to answer and could not offer any more detail, ( lots of "what IFS is best?") I just could not bear anymore "Do a search " answers. Plus I have been real busy finishing the project 56 so it will be ready to carry the parade Queen in a parade next Sept. That on top of building a 40' x 80' shop to house all of the rides has kept me away at times. I have also purchased my next project ( a stone stock solid and straight 1950 GMC suburban to carry grandkids) so that has kept me on a different site, which brings to me to add that the FTE site IS still by far the best site over all the others. The C***y site is real weak (but fast) and the rides don't come close to ours, but is needed to do research, but I will always be around.

Congrats on the burb project and the new shop...40x80, huh?. Can you say "WOWSERS!". What a shop! Anything you can ask the Chevy crowd you can ask here as far as I'm concerned...
Xfordman, that would be like the new Southern truck, a Ford powered 54 Chevy clone. Makes a guy wonder, does it not. The old burb will stay stock as it is a good runner with a built 228 six/4 spd.
Create, sorry man, the shop will be a bit out of the Denver area and the location and contents will not be in any photos as it will house ( for a fee ) some hi dollar rods as a way to finance the building. Part of the deal with the rod owners is that is have heat/AC/fire system and be secure and unmarked. It will have a community type tool bin and lifts etc.
Sov53, I hear you, but those old guy have some of the best signatures around, I should post a few just to share the laffs.
GNW, thanks, I did say wow at first, but it soon fills fast once you park cars 1 per 1.5 spaces to have room to open doors. Jon

Nice move guys, who the heck is going to want to post or even read a post from a poster with a name like this. I would remind you that I am an old white guy of german decent with a hispanic surname that understands very little spanish, so why would you do the name change??
