Finally back to the 1941

After quite some time dormant, we're finally back to working on the 41.

I finished building my wood bow for the interior and it turned out pretty good. I put 4 pictures of the bow in my Cosmetics gallery.

Next project is to tackle making my interior. I'll try to take notes and lots of pictures so I can share them here.

I wish ours was in that great of shape from the git-go. We might be further along.

Can't wait to see your finished project.

Carlene, nice job on the bows! Wow. At 3/4 inch you've almost got a roll bar there! Also won't have to worry about "oil-canning." Way to go!

Thanks Bruce.

The 3/4" is actually the same thickness as that square metal thing in the center that use to help hold the original headliner on. There's still plenty of room on the sides to tuck my board, foam & material for my custom headliner into.

I think with the bow being center of this "small" cab, I should only need the one. Any opinions?

What do you secure the headliner to in the back? Are you going to bring it down around the back window?

Yes, I'm bringing it all the way down the back of the cab. I'm doing a seamless interior. There is a 1" metal strip that runs along the entire back of the cab at both the top and bottom of the rear window to secure to. The top of the rear window is just out of sight on that photo of the bow in place. Once I have the top and back on, I'll begin fitting the contours of the cab.

Should be a lot of fun and I'll be sure to take lots of photo's.

Thanks for any and all imput.
