cold start problem???
I have a 1992 f150 5.8.If it get cold outside below say 20 degrees when I tryto start truck turn switch to on listen for feul pump it will start on not shut down which is when I have problem with no start. When temp raises I can turn switch on and pump will start for approx 2 sec and truck will start.I have tried dry gas which I thought worked but last night droppped to 0 and geuss what
truck did no start with pump not stopping.I read one of the threads here were
someone had same issues and said they had a freezen problem with the feul pump relay.?? If pump is still in run mode would this prevent injectors to fire.
I have pressure at rail and I have cleaned the iac sensor. This problem has me stumped. What would make pump not shut down becuase of outside temp and prevent truck from starting. This truck runs perfit when it starts at warmer temps.
