erratic speedo+trans, vss replaced???
OK, I have replaced my VSS and still no change from an erratic or dead speedo, abs light on, no cruise, and out of control trans shifting. i have tried a new ford vss and a new napa one too. also checked for good connection blown fuses, crimped wiring and found nothing. any other ideas?? thanks

Check the grounds, of course, but also check the VSS wiring itself.
I wonder if the timing ring inside the differential has fallen/broken off? You might want to remove the fill plug and see what's stuck to the magnet.
