Yesterday I visited a large auto recycling yard in eastern NC. Just in the Ford section, to big to see all the way across it was like candy land. 460s 390s tilt wheels, "straight drive power steering columns", vans in 4 wide rows not wrecked, just parked there.
My thoughts are pulling an engine and AOD tranny along with AC parts from the vans. Did Ford put an AOD behind a 351W or were they all behind 302s?
Gotta get some funds together and go shopping, I mean buying.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
If the AOD tranny is overdrive and I belive it is, I think I have seen a bronco with a 351W and an overdrive. Now dont hold me to this but I think they have. Im not sure if they ever did that with a van or not. Anyone else know???
I have some information for you regarding the 460 you are interested in. I also live near Fayetteville...please write me at
