What size fuse ?

I ran down to Autozone and bought a inline fuse setup (the only thing they had was a 30A for AC unit) so I wondered, as my old one was busted I have no idea what size fuse should be in the casing. The 30A sounds a bit much..dont want to fry anything...

Hey Redmanbob; maybe i'm more confuse than the fuse; but what is the fuse being use for and in what year vehicle? This would probably help someone answer your question.

66 F-100 the Emergency Flasher has an inline fuse on mine that looks stock, the housing was old and busted when I got the truck. I got a replacement fuse housing but I think the 30A fuse in it is overkill here ?? Sorry for confusion..
