Does anyone have access to the complete TSB's regarding the surging fan clutch also known as "rolling idle"? The TSB refers to some F150's built before 10-1-04.
The TSB's were issued on 7-23-04 and again on 5-5-05.
what exactly do you mean by " rollling idle'? my truck when idling will shake then smooth our , shake then smooth out and repeat over and over and it drives me nuts. is this what you are talking about?

Nope.....the rough idle is a separate issue. Have your dealer look up TSB number 05-5-15 and perform the necessary repairs. (reprogram the PCM)
The "rolling idle" term is used to describe the sound that the fan clutch makes when continuously engaging and disengaging when the engine is first started. It sounds like the RPM is going up and down.
