Ok, so after researching on the internet for days where to find the keyless entry code for my computer, I finally found it, GREAT! I got the code from the computer module so I know its the right code, also the fact that when I enter it the doors unlock.
Now heres the problem, when the alarm is armed, when I enter the code the door will unlock, and 1 second later the alarm will go off, even if I dont try to open the door, the same thing If I use the keypad to open all doors and the back hitch. I know this didnt happen on my old explorer so I find it odd, because Its like I can't use it, any ideas?
sorry I forgot to add its a 2003 explorer. yes, it has installed the PowerCode System - Vehicle Security, Keyless Entry, Convenience Package, and Siren.
If you have an aftermarket alarm, I'm not sure if the factory keypad will disarm that alarm. You technically have to lock/unlock systems--the factory one and the aftermarket one. The keypad only activates the factory one. Is there a way to program the keypad?
