Tailgate (1986 F-150)

I'm getting ready to replace the tailgate on my truck I would like to replace it with a stock one.

Does anybody have a good source for accessories for my 1986 F-150 exd cab 4WD? There are not a lot of sources I can find for my year.

Bob,
Try JC Whitney (312-431-6102). In their latest
Ford truck catalog, they have all kinds of accessories including new tailgates.

J.C.Whitney has a catalog just for ford trucks. They offer body panels, trim pieces and other parts that are hard to find. Yes they have tailgates.

Are you meaning you want to replace it a factory tailgate, where it has the FORD logo on it? If so you will probably have to get one through a body shop or a dealer (ouch)
