newbie ? Tranfer case has hole in it
I just bought this 1984 bronco and there is a hole in the transfer case i am going to buy a new case cover it is the back part.I am just wondering if anyone knows if this is going to be easy or if I take the cover off is all the part going to fall out so i wont know where they go ?Does any one have some pics of what the inside of it looks like or a workshop manual so that would tell me how to go about doing this. Thank you JR .oh the motor is a 351w and i am not sure what the transfercase is but i think it is something like a E208 1 that is what the red metal tag says on it so PLS help THank you again

ok I caused it I bought the truck for $550 it has an edlebrock carb and intake and it has headers.The problem started when I realized that the flex plate had a flat spot so I started to pull the trans well while doing that I broke put a hole in the transfer case the place that the heat shield bolt up to on the transfer case broke off and now there is a hole.so i dont know if i take that plate off will i beable to get it back on thank you JR
