I wanted to know if this is normal for the rangers when I turn on and off the heater a few minutes afterwards it will make a clicking noice. I dont know if it is the core or blower. I dont have any leaks in the cab so I dont know if it is normal for that thing to click or not.
You might hear some of the doors move as the vacuum bleeds off, the blend door on mine is electric so you won't hear that, not sure what year you have.
Mine started making that noise, and two weeks latter I was stuck on heat only. It was the blend door. It was the sound of the thing striping the plastic on the blend door. If it is the blend door, it will only be doing this when you change the temperature setting.

It worked like a charm on mine, but I was not able to see anything with the mirror that is suggested in the list. I had to kind of feel it out blindly... Took me two times but I got it, and saved $1000...
