Sunroof Noise
Purchased an 01 eddie bauer expedition 2 months ago,, when I open the sunroof and hit about 40mph,,, the little rubber air buffer thing vibrates and makes a loud buffering noise . Dealer says its nothing they can do,, some do, some dont,,, Does all of the expeditions make this noise is there a correction other than shoving a little rag under it to make it stop vibrating ????

I fixed our vibrations...
We have an 03 EB that had the same problem. We would stick a little sponge ball under it to stop the vibrations.
To make a long story short...
I broke the wind deflector when I forgot to remove the ball before closing the sunroof. I bought a new one and it doesn't vibrate now. It makes opening the sunroof a lot more enjoyable. I believe it was worth the $100 I spent.
