I had my rear ashtrays filling up wit whater. I realized it was the weather striping around the cap windows that were giving in. So I decided to lift the bottom portion on both ends and seal them up with silicone. Problem seems to be solved. No more water in ashtrays.
HOWEVER there seems to be some water that is retained under the carpet right under the rear seats. I pulled the carpet out and inspected my bare rear floor, was dry completely dry. Sure enough I put the carpet back in and I feel under there, and I have moisture. Anyone has had any similar problems to this? I siliconed my gutter cracks and the weather stripping, I just don't know what gives.
sounds like your carpet is wet. back the bronco into the garage, and use a hair dryer to dry things up. might take awhile but thats all i can think of . im sure someone else will chim in with better option as well.
