Shifter vibrations
have a 91 ranger with M5OD tranny. Just wondering what causes the shifter to vibrate with driving?

The shifter in these trucks is stuck directly into the top of the transmission, which is connected directly to the engine and rear end. That's where all th vibration comes from...

you might want to check your driveshaft.. try taking it out and turning 180 degrees
