Shifting into reverse.
I posted this question a while back, but didn't get any answers, hopefully some will see this and be able to help me soon.
I have a Mazda B4000 96,Automatic, with 172,000 on it, my problem is this:
This happens more often when cold than warm, so I haven't had it happen recently. When the truck has been sitting, overnight etc, when I start it and put it into reverse, it takes a few seconds to engage, kills the engine, and the O/D light flashes at me.NO check engine light at all. If I turn the key off, and then start it again, put it in reverse, everything is fine. It never does this in drive.
Fluid levels look fine. I don't know where to go from here. Let me knwo what you guys think.
