Scanner Port

I can't seem to fine the scanner prot on my 94 Ford E-150 van. I assume that it is under the hood. All I can fine is a spare EEC cover attached to a harness wire on the right side of the engine compartment by the battery. I hope someone can tell me where to look. Thank You

I'm not sure just where it is on your vehicle but I am almost positive that it is accessed from the cab of the truck either by the steering collum or by the passenger side kick pannel. Good luck!

I know the OBD II connectors are in the cab, but all the EEC IV ones I've seen are under the hood. On my 89 302, it's over between the battery and fender on the right side. Two connectors, a red one with four sockets and a gray one with one socket. I know the 89 and 94 are quite different, but they both use EEC-IV.

I don't think anybody inferred that you implied that they were idiots! Yours was a fine post and may be right for that particular vehicle. I was just posting an alternate possibility. That's how things work here. Stay tuned!

My '94 E-150 plug is located next to the battery on the driver's side just under the fender. You may have to reach under the fender top and feel for it if it's not been used before.
