brutal nature patterns last six months

So far,

France 15,000+ dead from a heat wave

Iran 20,000 - 40,000 dead from an earthquake

Turkey now in the midst of one of its worse winters. Death toll unknown right now. Our own NE states buried in snow (only about 30 deaths though).

......meanwhile, Al Gore goes out on one of the coldest days on record denoucing current efforts toward global warming. Scientists, and I use the term loosely, can't decide whether the earth is warming up or cooling down. Some even claim it is doing both. Denver meterologists, despite having the latest Quadruple Doppler Radar systems, completely missed the Sunday blizzard that struck. Anyone who claims to know what the earth's weather patterns will be 10, 20, 100 years from now should be considered as knowlegeable as one who reads tea leaves.

More than half the population of Iran was born after 1979.

It's irrelevant to what they put us through for those agonizing 444 days.

What did Iran have to go through with our support of the Shah and his tortures? Our support of that merciless and cruel man was, with good reason, the reason they hated the USA.

It lasted that long because of the president. Once Reagan took office and said their deaths were the price all Americans pay for their freedom and the USA was going to attack no matter what the costs, surprise surprise, we get the hostages back.

NE buried in snow? huh??? i'm praying for more snow as there is very little on the trails for snowmobiling!!! --- you might be thinking about the mid-atlantic region? like washing dc where two inches of snow shuts them down for days?
