what rear end do I use in my 37 ford

I need a 56-58" rear for my 37 ford truck I know that I can have a 9" cut to width but I'd rather not mess with that. Does anyone out there know rear end widths. and what they came out of and what kind they are.

Flange to flange, 61-67 Thunderbird is 56 inches, 58-72 F100 is 57inches, 70-71 Torino/cyclone is 56 inches, and I think all are 9 inch rears.

If you're interested in a GM rear, I put a limited slip rear out of a 77 Pontiac Trans-Am under a 36 Ford pickup some years ago and it was a perfect fit...

If you're wanting to keep your Ford a Ford, the 9" rear from a 1968 small Bronco should fit. You'll have to relocate the perches (as we did with our '41), but it shoud be a nice fit.
