Okay Ive alrady got the ignitor. It was on the truck when I bought it like 5 or 6 years ago. Only thing is.. I dont rember how to hook it up. Its still on the distributor, but im only guessing with the two wires. Red and black. I hooked them up to their respective posts on the coil. This right or Wrong?
If the Ignitor isnt hookedup corectly or isnt working, the tach will not have a signal right?
Yes. I suppose I should have stated that. They dont offer any tech help on how to connect, and they also dont have any sort of tech support email listed. It does show how to connect if you have CD ignition setup thou.
I did a search on the internet for this and found a article from one of the magazines, it answered my questions. For those who might need to know in the future the black goes to the negative side and the red goes to positive side, both on the coil
Thats how i thought it did but wanted to make sure.
