Thats right, i had just a megaflow stock muffler replacement until today, but i got a hold of the ATS single turbo diesel setup, with 4" pipes, and threw it on just to try it!! Its sweet, i took it to the shop that did my lift. Maximum altitude and everyone in there thought it was the best sounding V10 theve ever heard, and theve seen 100'S, it rumbles like a my jeep's old 319 with glasspacks at idle, and wrapin it up to 4000 it really lets out a roar, the diesel muffler is a free flowing setup, so it works like a glasspack, i did not know how it would turn out, but it is awsome, im keeping it on there!!
Just thought you guys would wanna know, the setup from ATS is $400. I cant say enough, it rocks.

I've wanted to do that for a long time, just did,nt have the guts cause everybody where I live said I was nuts to do it. How much work/modification was needed to get it to bolt up yo your stock 'y' pipe? Let us know, Thanks.
The ATS setup installs from the catconverter back, rigth at the exit of the Cat, we used a conversion pipe, 4" down to 3", can get at Autozone and used muffler clamps to snugg it down, the that is the only fabrication to do cause it think the diesel setup has wider stock pipes than the gas.
Ps. my father has been running a diesel pipe on his 1979 F250 V8 gas. for the last few years and it sounds awsome, that is where i got the idea.
Sound is one thing, performance is another. Does it perform any better? Any worse? Or does it just annoy everyone around you when you stomp on the gas?
It sure works better than when i just had a megaflow muffler in place of the stock one, Compared to a Gibson?, i dont know, ive never ran one, As for sound, make sure and read the above post, you missed it, i said everyone ive shown AGREED it is the best sound they have heard out of a V10, NoT anoying anyone every time i stomp on the gas, im not trying to say its better than anyone else's exhaust, It just sounds better to me, and i wanted to let you all know that it is possible and works just fine. I emailed ATS, called my local mechanic, the ford dealership, and a good friend who's owned his own repair shop till he retired, they all said the diesel is just a bit more free flowing than the gas, performs about the same as running a glasspack.

I just bought an 03 F250 V10 and i am trying to make it as loud as i can, ive heard the only thing that really sounds good on them is diesel exhaust, how loud is yours and does it sound good
