Good luck on your truck. I'd be interested myself if (1) I had any money and (2) if I didn't already have a 48 F-3 I'm in the middle of.
Thank you Vern, I figure it would probably take another 8K to finish, with 2 daughters in college it would be over 4 years before I would have any spare change. With that long of a time span I do not want to tie the garage up with the truck sitting there. Oh well sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and lay off the toys. Its sad though because I was just starting to make some headway, painting the cab black really made it look nice! Good luck on your project Vern!

Well guys, when it came down to it I just couldn't bare the thought of letting my 56 go. Some way some how I will manage, what a relief off my shoulders to decide to keep it afterall. Thanks all.

Don't let your dream die bue to oncoming things in life...believe me with a 3yr old, wife, house, bills, work and everything that comes along....there has been times when i was like this might have to go BUT...the wife was like if you get rid of it, how long will it take you to find another one...i told her less than a yr....and going to do the same thing again...unless i find a complete truck but...where is the fun in restoring when its already done....so....keep what you have man and HANG IN THERE!!!!! We FORDERS here got your back!!!!!!!!!
