New 94 Bronco summer project
PRO:
Body in great shape, interior is fair.
Tires are excellent
351 W TBI
CON:
Been sitting for 4+ years
Needs fuel pump
Ticking noise in valve train, previous owner removed TBI and never fixed or put intake back together. All parts are there.
PLANS:
Fix all the above and get it running
Would like to find a Hi Torque cam and lifter kit. I do a lot of towing/trailer work
With a new cam, dual exhaust and TBI a ECU update or remapping might be in order
I am new to the 351W but have had lots of FE's and 7.3's so any suggestions would be appreciated. Note, this will be my winter daily driver so I need to keep it street friendly
Is the ticking in the valve train or an exhaust leak? The exhaust manifolds are known to crack, especially the passenger side.
A 1994 341W should have a decent roller cam from the factory. I’d be careful about what “Hi Torque” cam you choose or it won’t work well with the EFI system.

Yours is multiport
Be careful on cam selection, as the stock EFI will not handle much more than stock
You'll need to switch to a Holley Sniper or something if you really want to boogie your 5.8
I'd leave it stock
