Years ago Hurst was a top name in shifters, I had one in my short bed Uni with a 292 and the factory three speed. Worked fine but no idea what is available today or Hurst’s quality level.
I would like to convert my three on the tree to the floor. Engine is a 223. Are there kits available? Which is the best?
Are you wanting to convert because it does not work correctly? A 3 on the tree is so rare nowdays that I would hate to get rid of one.
I have one in my 66 F100 and love it and its a great anti theft device
There are some new parts available for the three-on-the-tree shift mechanisms for our trucks. I second the recommendation to investigate before condemning yours.
I have a new shift collar, and a NOS shift tube to install on my 63, it will be a little while before I get to doing that and finding out how much work it is.
There is nothing wrong with the way it works. In fact, it works rather well. I just prefer the floor shift. I haven't done anything with it yet.
I personally would go with a Hurst.
All of the shifter parts that you will no longer be needing are in demand and can be sold, the shift tubes which are a common failure point are getting hard to find and are not being reproduced as far as I can tell.

Your truck makes it your decision but you may live to regret it. Not only is a 3 on the tree the world's best anti theft device they are becoming rare and more desirable.
