Starting May off with cold and wet conditions - not what I had in mind but it'll be better than snow. No matter the weather today, it'll soon be time to plant gardens and do things with trucks and all the other summer toys. As always, you know what to do, so do it
Merry May One Pennsylvania, Bill, Chuck, Craig, Jason, Steve and all the crew. the morning started at 35° in my WV woods and maybe we will reach 55° with a cold breeze according to the Soothsayers on TV!
SO, I am Thinking someone, whoever stood her up on the last date, find her, apologize, wine, dine, fluff her and when the time is right stuff her medications down her!!
Anyway, it is the Weekend Eve, May One and almost time to start the big party. So take it easy today, rest up and maybe you can make it to 2200!
Have a joyous and Blessed day.
No link left in the closed April thread for the May thread. Hopefully everyone will come along shortly.
Anniversary day for me and the wife. 28 years and counting. Got some mowing to do and remodel continues on a bedroom then dinner. I really do wish Mother Nature would get back on her meds. Had some light frost in the south central on Friday. Enjoy the Saturday PA, and points all around.
Too cold and damp for car shows locally today. So, I worked on building a fence gate instead. I haven't done that in a long time, but it looks like I have something that will fit nicely. I'll get it hung tomorrow. That will finish the garden enclosure, and it's on to the next project.
Frost warnings to the west of me, luckily it was a little warmer in the Cumberland valley. Got the drywall all fixed up yesterday. I need to wash the walls and start the paint process today.
Good morning, Gang! I'm surviving right now. Hoping this weather warms up soon. The hay needs baled today, so I guess I'll have to bag it. The youngest and I have three games to ref this evening. The oldest came home this weekend to bottle wine with a friend. He finishes finals on Tuesday. Him and a another buddy are leaving Wednesday for a cross-country road trip to kick off their summer. My daughter starts a new job this week. Never a dull moment in this house!
Garden enclosure complete, now it's on to getting a pantry built. Gotta have somewhere to store the goods we're going to grow. With the way of the world these days, a little self sufficiency certainly doesn't hurt.
